C8 and C8 + C10 MCT Oils – Fats for Keto-Friendly Diets

MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides) are fats that are metabolised differently from most common dietary fats. They are popular in keto and low-carbohydrate diets and can easily be added to foods and drinks.

🌿 C8 MCT Oil · Caprylic Acid

Primarily contains triglycerides of caprylic acid (C8), which can be used relatively quickly to produce ketone bodies.

🥥 C8 + C10 MCT Oil

Combines triglycerides of caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). The difference lies in the blend of these two MCT fats.

☕ How to Use MCT Oil

Add liquid MCT oil to coffee, smoothies, yoghurt or prepared meals. It is not suitable for high-heat frying. Start with a small amount and increase gradually according to tolerance and the product label.

💡 Is MCT oil suitable for a keto diet?

MCT fats can support ketone production, but MCT oil alone does not guarantee reaching or maintaining ketosis. Your overall diet and individual metabolism matter.

Tip: MCT oil is a concentrated source of fat and calories. Larger servings may cause digestive discomfort.
