Retinol and hyaluronic acid - synergistic effect

Retinol has been shown in studies to promote collagen synthesis and increase the thickness of the epidermis, resulting in fewer wrinkles and fine lines(5). Hyaluronic acid is recommended over other substances for its regenerative, anti-aging and moisturizing effects on the skin. One study found that combining Retinol with Hyaluronic Acid creates a powerful anti-wrinkle combination that can improve skin texture and significantly reduce wrinkles (6).

Effects of ingredients:

Retinol:

Retinol increases the proliferation of collagen and skin cells, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Retinol gently exfoliates the skin and improves skin texture by reducing pores.

Vitamin E:

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant as well as a popular collagen-boosting anti-aging ingredient often used in anti-aging beauty products. It keeps the skin hydrated, soft, relieves inflammation, promotes healing and protects from the sun.

Vitamin C:

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that stimulates collagen production for skin elasticity and firmness and brightens skin by reducing melanin production.

Hyaluronic acid:
